This abandoned Blackbird’s nest was just beautiful. I found it in the veggie patch and on close inspection the ingenuity and craftsmanship of the bird was amazing. Particularly considering it was all achieved with just a beak. An array of bits and pieces cleverly woven with a delightful artistic touch of two dried flowers nestled in the bottom. A sheer joy to draw.
